Elsewhere Artist Residency
Elizabeth recently completed an artist residency at Elsewhere, a living museum in Greensboro, NC where she created two entities within the Elsewhere Commonwealth: The Green Space Initiative (GSI) and the Remeberance League Project Fund (RLPF). The GSI is a subdivision of the existing Parks and Recreation Department and seeks to cultivate temporary green spaces within the museum. The RLPF supports tributes and memorials to Elsewhere's collection. Although the two groups function separately, they did co-sponsor Elsewhere's first Decoration Day, which was held on Saturday August 30th, 2014.

The Mini Museum, sponsored by the Art Island Residency
Art Island, a new initiative by the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) traveled throughout Chinatown offering a temporary oasis of art making to various community centers, organizations and after school programs.
Over 260 people of all ages worked with artist Elizabeth Hamilton throughout the month of April creating miniature paintings, sculptures and drawings, many inspired by PAFA's permanent collection. Select works were on exhibit in a mini museum installed on the 10th St Pavilion (10th Street and Vine Street).
